Christmas decorations can become expensive and take up a lot of room when you're not using them. As December rolls round once again, I'm bringing you a step-by-step tutorial to make your own Christmas star decorations - that you can even recycle if you wanted to!
You can follow the video or the written instructions below:
You will need:
Two pieces of paper in 15cm x 15cm squares - I bought wrapping paper from Wilko
Glue or blu tack
Method:
1. Get your first square of paper and fold so the corners meet and makes a centre line.

2. Fold over the top flap so it meets the centre line.

3. Flip the paper over. Fold the paper in half horizontally bringing the bottom of the triangle to meet the top.

4. This can be a fiddly bit. you need to pull open the flap and squash it down so that it creates a vertical edge and lines up on the left hand side.
5. Get the second square of paper and set it in front of you like a diamond. Fold upwards horizontally.

6. Now you have a little triangle, fold it again vertically to make a smaller triangle.

7. Grab your first piece of paper and open it up. Dab a bit of glue or pop in a piece of blue tack.

8. Slot in the second piece, and there you have your Christmas star.
