Each month we're going to round up our favourite items from each of our categories, telling you why we love it and where you can get your own from. For December we're giving you some items that can help make these cold months a little bit more bearable...
Kitchen
My favourite kitchen item this month is my slow cooker. As the nights are getting colder and darker, there's nothing better than coming home to a hot cooked meal with very little effort, I just throw my ingredients in and by the time I come home from my lectures in the evening dinner is ready and waiting for me.
Available from: I got mine a little while ago but similar is available from Argos

Living
My favourite living item this month is my lamp from Primark. I needed something to brighten up my room, so I picked this up for £9 and it just gives my room a warm glow in the evenings. The only downfall is that is it battery operated so i do have to pick it up from my table every time i want to turn it on or off but don't let that put you off this cute little light. Pictured here, on the right, on Primark's Instagram.

Study
My favourite this month is my diary. It’s been helping me stay organised in the run up to Christmas with what assignments I have due and whose Christmas presents I have sorted. Keep a look out for later in the month where I tell you my top tips for staying organised. Available from: WHSmith
Bathroom
My favourite thing behind the bathroom door this month is Nivea shower cream in rose.
I’m very picky when it comes to shower gel as I have very sensitive skin but this stuff has been great, I’m also not a massive fan of floral smells and this shower gel doesn’t have that despite being called Rose. It leaves my skin happy and moisturised in this harsh winter weather.
Available from: Poundland
